About the manifesto
The first goal of our Global Paper Vision is to reduce paper consumption. Disposable cups are a symbol of the wasteful use of paper, and many of the member organizations are working together to eliminate them.
Billions of disposable cups are used worldwide every year. This is wasteful and harms people, forests, water and the global climate.
Our “Cup Manifesto” is a manifesto that calls on business leaders and politicians to stop promoting the throwaway culture by ensuring that all cups are reusable.
