Climate-neutral school IGS Nordend hands over this year’s donation at the 2023 summer party
For many years, the IGS Nordend school has been organizing events with the aim of becoming CO2 neutral. This also includes sponsored runs. The money raised is donated to Tropica Verde to support reforestation in Costa Rica, e.g. in the “Reserva Natural Monte Alto”, Province Guanacaste, Hojancha. A total of almost €20,000 has already been raised. A great result. A huge thank you from Tropica Verde to the school community.
At this year’s school party on July 1, 2023, there were not only performances, hands-on activities, games and lots of treats, but a donation was also made to Tropica Verde. This year, a sum of almost €3,500 was handed over to Tropica Verde. The commitment is exemplary!
