We are delighted to welcome two nature-loving young people from Germany, Lara Meller and Eric Sacher, to Reserva Kinkajou. Lara is studying ecology and environmental planning and is devoting her bachelor’s thesis to the ecology and fauna of the protected area. Eric started as a volunteer in Monte Alto at the beginning of January and brings the know-how from there on camera traps and other methods to Reserva Kinkajou to support Lara in her field work. Stefan Rother is on site and, together with Pedro Mendez Tam from Yatama Lodge, has introduced them to the current project work. We wish Lara and Eric an exciting and successful time at Reserva Kinkajou.
