Including small change, the donation from IGS Nordend has risen to a total of over 5000€! We would like to thank the group of students for their great commitment!
The school group had already organized a charity run in May, which raised €3800. Including further small change, the sum has now risen to over €5000! Our Chairman, Michael Ott, was happy to travel to the school in person to hand over the donation, to say thank you and to tell the new group of pupils about the current successes of the project in Monte Alto.
Their donation will be used to plant the first trees on the new property in Monte Alto. The school is pursuing the goal of CO2 neutrality, which has come a step closer with this donation.
After planting the next year, however, the young trees must be cared for for a further 3 years until they are large enough to grow independently.
