On December 4, 2017, our Board members, Lina Thomas and Alejandro Villalobos, were guests at an event “by foreign students for foreign students” at the Catholic University Community in Frankfurt.
Under the theme “Tropica Verde – environmental protection without borders”, Alejandro (photo: right) reported on his start as a Peruvian student in Frankfurt and how he came to join the Tropica Verde association. Lina, on the other hand, spoke from the opposite perspective, about her experiences as a German student, which she was able to gather as part of her research work in Costa Rica.
This was followed by an exciting discussion with all those present.
