How does species conservation work?

How can we preserve the diversity of plants and animals?

How can we counteract the increasing loss of biodiversity?

On May 7 from 10 am to 6 pm, Frankfurt Zoo and numerous member institutions and partners of the BioFrankfurt e.V. network will be answering these important questions. Visitors to the zoo can gain exciting insights into current work and projects at stands in the zoo grounds and also learn about the importance of species conservation. A large supporting program with performances by the penguin theater troupe Picante, a quiz with great prizes, face painting for children and many other attractions ensure that the topic of species conservation is communicated in an appealing way for young and old – and all this in the unique setting of Frankfurt Zoo.

As a network partner, we will also be there on May 7 to provide information about rainforest and species conservation. On this day, our focus will be on the greater spotted macaw – the zoo animal of the year 2023.

We look forward to welcoming you on Sunday!
