Many people don't even know what it means to live in the tropics, how complicated the living conditions are and how sensitive the ecological balance is.<\/h2>\n

If you, as a member, raise awareness of tropical forests and their importance in
our everyday lives in your area, a great deal has already been done for our cause. Those who know what needs to be protected are also more willing to support conservation projects and information work with a donation. Approaching your own employer or other companies about \"sponsoring\", distributing information material, an information stand or a presentation at school, community or university are all opportunities to become active here with us. Information that you yourself bring back from trips to tropical regions or image material (photos, maps) that you can make available to Tropica Verde are also important contributions. And for those with manual skills, building an attractive information stand or a donation box is another way to get involved for your own enjoyment and for an important cause. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

As a member of Tropica Verde you have many opportunities. You can get actively involved in the association's work, volunteer at events and exchange ideas with like-minded people on topics such as rainforest protection, climate protection, environmental education and more. Or you can simply support our projects regularly with your membership fee and help to preserve the tropical rainforest in Costa Rica in the long term. PATENSHIP<\/h2>\n

With a jungle sponsorship, you support Tropica Verde's current nature & species conservation and education projects<\/a> in Costa Rica and Germany.<\/h3>\n

The amount with which you conclude a sponsorship is converted by us into CO\u2082 equivalents<\/span>.
25\u20ac corresponds to one tonne of CO\u2082<\/span> saved over a year. All current projects are included in the calculation. By taking out a sponsorship, the existing primeval forests are protected, former farmland is reforested, new trees are planted and environmental education is also promoted. This combination of measures to protect the rainforest makes Tropica Verde's rainforest sponsorship unique. <\/p>\n

For your donation of at least \u20ac25, you will receive a personalized certificate and a donation receipt for submission to your tax office. You can choose from the motifs shown. <\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>

Would you like to support us as a volunteer on a project in Costa Rica?<\/span><\/h3>\n

Tropica Verde does not have a formal volunteer program. Depending on whether there is a specific need at one of our projects in Costa Rica or at our information office in Germany, we may be able to support a volunteer placement for a specific period of time.
